Terms of Service

1) Scope & Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of RapidMatter’s website, quoting tools, and 3D manufacturing services. By submitting a file, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and any order-specific terms we confirm in writing.

2) Quotes, Orders & Lead Times

• Quotes: Based on the files and specifications you provide; pricing may change if inputs change.
• Lead times: Start after design approval and payment (when applicable); may shift for material availability or quality holds—if so, we’ll notify you.
• Right to decline: We may decline work that is unsafe, unlawful, or infeasible for the requested process or material.

3) Files, Confidentiality & IP

• Ownership: You retain ownership of your designs.
• License: You grant a limited license to use submitted files only to evaluate, quote, manufacture, and ship your parts.
• Confidentiality: Access is limited to personnel and service providers necessary to fulfill your order.

4) Quality, Rework & Remedies

• Conformance: We aim to meet confirmed specs. For nonconformities caused by our process, we may reprint, repair, or refund at our discretion.
• Inspection window: Inspect parts on receipt; notify us in writing within 7 days for quality claims.

5) Customer Responsibilities

• Lawful use: Do not submit controlled, hazardous, or infringing content.
• Complete specs: Provide tolerances, critical dimensions, and finishes before production starts.

6) Payments, Taxes & Shipping

• Payments: Due per checkout or invoice terms; taxes, duties, and shipping are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
• Risk of loss: Transfers at delivery to the carrier; tracked shipping provided where available.

7) Limitations of Liability

• No consequential damages: We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, downtime), where permitted by law.
• Cap on liability: Limited to the amounts you paid for the relevant order.

8) Compliance & Export

You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including export controls, for parts you submit and receive. We may suspend or cancel work to comply with legal requirements.
